I am a visual artist (she/her) living in Phoenix, Arizona who cultivates beauty and clarity to amplify stories that matter. By finding relevance in complex ideas and nuance in difficult topics, I use photography to explore personal, familial, and societal relationships that are stigmatized or ignored.
After quiet childhood in an Arizona bordertown, I followed my passion for the arts by pursuing a BFA in Photography at Arizona State University, where I graduated with honors in 2015. There, I took an interdisciplinary approach to education by combining photography, storytelling, and digital media in my creative practice. My work has been recognized by Scholastic Golden Key, the Society for Photographic Education, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, the Arizona Commission of the Arts and more.
